Hi all! I’m originally from the mountain town of Vail, Colorado but traded in for a pair of rain boots in middle school when I moved to Eugene, Oregon. I’ve bounced around quite a bit since then, first obtaining a BA in international relations at the University of San Diego, then working in New York as well as abroad in Australia and Central America, before returning for medical school at Georgetown in DC. I loved traveling and meeting adventurous people from all over, but always wanted to return to my favorite corner of the globe - the Southwest. Living in Phoenix, a large city with easy access to the outdoors, has been fantastic. I can bike, snowboard, and camp at some incredible locations, but I have to admit that I have been most enjoying waking up to the sun every day and lounging/studying by the pool.

I cannot say enough good things about Abrazo. The residents and faculty are so supportive, fun and down-to-earth, and the training is phenomenal. We see such high acuity with a range of interesting patient populations at multiple EDs, and are given the flexibility to jump in on any procedure and trauma we want. The location also provides for unique practice opportunities such as in border medicine and toxicology. It is exciting to be with such a dedicated group and have a real voice in shaping this program.
